Angela Cahlo

Is a free artist from Zenica. She was born on 4.10.1989 in Zenica. She finished First Gymnasium in Zenica and is currently studying at the Faculty of Engineering also in Zenica. She draws and photographs for her own pleasure. Her free time is shared between voluntary work and activism.
In the future she plans to enroll at the Art Academy in Sarajevo. This has always been her great but till recently hidden passion. She draws with the technique of grafts and pencil, in black and white style which dominates in her art both in photographs and drawings.
This limitation to black and white was not a choice but the revelation of the author through her works and exploration of styles. Black and white doesn't represent only bad and good...purity and darkness but also the harmony between two strong colors. When you put them together they make a mysterious, sad and powerful composition one which can clearly show detail, emotion and form as a piece of art. In her own exhibit the author represented the woman, just the way she is. Her focus was on the qualities every woman has. By during this exhibit the author decided that her future life will be devoted to art.
